Solid Cream pays tribute to the 60s power trio Cream (Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker and Jack Bruce). Using their music as a launching pad Solid Cream put their own mark on the well-known tunes, yet staying true to the original version and the things that made the very band so great, improvisation and the evergreen sound of the blues.

The Cavell Leitch New Zealand International Jazz & Blues Festival is the largest combined jazz and blues event in the country. Staged in Christchurch, the festival is an annual event, which celebrates its twenty fourth year in 2019.
