Paul Ubana Jones ia a one man with guitar, sounding like a whole band. With a voice that is as husky as it is evocative, with intoxicating rhythms leaving nobody untouched Paul has toured with the best.
Paul Ubana Jones has been described as a Kiwi treasure, a legend by many that have followed his career.
Born in London to a Yorkshire mother and a Nigerian father, Paul Ubana Jones was playing guitar by the age of 11. This was the beginning of a three-decade career that would see him crossing continents and recording eight albums being credited with three major music awards
“Paul Ubana Jones’ soulful voice, sprightly guitar agility and enthusiasm made this the most inspired performance of the evening….in any other country he would be an institution!”
— Simon Sweetman reviewing Paul Ubana Jones, Patti Smith & Bob Dylan. Auckland 1998
