Every single donation of $40 or more automatically receives a Wooden Ticket and gives you a chance to win one of 25 Golden Tickets. The Blue Smoke Golden Ticket is a double pass and allows entry to the show, dinner for two and a table to share.
As we emerge from this period of withdrawal and shut-down we can think of no better way to ease our social distance and bring folks back together again than with the rolling, rambling, spirit raising atmosphere of an Eastern live show. The Eastern are known nationwide and internationally as a hard driving, hard working, hard hoping, huge hearted, country/folk/string/rock n roll powerhouse. Described by ‘No Depression’ as “one of the best modern roots acts from any country”.

But wait! There’s more! Every single donation of $40 or more ALSO automatically receives a Wooden Ticket. This Wooden Ticket will allow you a one off single entry to ANY Eastern show, anytime, anywhere in NZ, Yes! This is a raffle where you just can’t lose!
This very special intimate seated show will be the first live music performance featured at Cassels Blue Smoke post lockdown.
Cassels Blue Smoke is an endeared cornerstone of Aotearoa’s touring circuit, hosting national and international acts such as Dave Dobbyn, Mac Demarco, Marlon Williams, Holly Smith, Justin Townes Earle, Aldous Harding, Delaney Davidson, Reb Fountain and The Beths. All donations will help us open our doors again so that we can support musicians to perform, provide some much needed income for our crew and get back to work to bring you more of the shows you love.

Remember to select that you are happy for Blue Smoke to know the amount you donated AND that you are happy to share your contact details with Blue Smoke – you will need to select both these boxes in order to be eligible to win.
We will be adhering to level 2 social distancing requirements on Saturday 6th June; We have limited attendance to 50 people so that our tables can be comfortably spaced out and in good view of the stage.
Golden Ticket winners will be contacted by email between 12pm and 2pm on Thursday 4th June. Each Golden Ticket includes a dinner voucher valued at $40. Full Cassels Brew Bar menu available.
Wooden Tickets are for use at almost ANY single Eastern Show in New Zealand and do not expire but please note that they cannot be used for the Blue Smoke Golden Ticket show (featuring The Eastern) on Saturday 6th June. We will email info and guidelines for our Wooden Tickets as some t&c’s will apply.
