Embrace the Eastern-European-meets-dubby-roots sound of Yurt Party! Clap hands to seething Romani and Balkan rhythms, sigh to haunting violin melodies, and cheer along the fiery horn players. This Christchurch-proud band gets people dancing at festivals, under trees, on top of tables and generally in an up and down direction.

The Cavell Leitch New Zealand International Jazz & Blues Festival is the largest combined jazz and blues event in the country. Staged in Christchurch, the festival is an annual event, which celebrates its twenty fourth year in 2019.
